Kujichagulia Juniper "K.J." Whitehead is a Chicago-based comedian with a career running for over 12 years. She has released two live comedy albums, recorded in front of sold out audiences: KHAOS (2022) and The Haggard Unicorn (2020) and is working on recording another album this summer! Her material has been described as hilarious story-telling and observations on her own life as a black transgender lesbian in Chicago.

Ms. Whitehead opened for Ron Funches back in the summer of 2022 for the Chicago stop of his "Back At It" Tour and Marsha Warfield as part of the 2020 Northwest Black Comedy Festival in Portland, OR.

K.J. never goes for the easy joke. Still, she's committed to the craft of comedy and making her brand enjoyable for all, but especially LGBTQIA2S communities, black communities, and anyone who identifies with her!
